• 6:45-7:30 - Snowflakes, Flowers

• 7:30-8:00  - Candy Canes, Reindeer

Casting Needs & Role Descriptions:

Clara: This featured role requires a strong command of classical ballet technique and the ability to develop a character and lead the story. This dancer should also have strong musicality. Age range is 12-14.

Fritz: This featured role requires a good concept of character development and strong musicality. Age range is 10-14.

Mice: These dancers will require musicality and a love of performing. Age range is 9-11.

Cousins/Clowns: These dancers will require knowledge of classical ballet, musicality and a love of performing. Age range is 9-14.

Reindeer/Candy Canes: These roles require dancers to have a strong classical ballet technique. We will also be looking for dancers with a 180 degree split in grand jeté for Reindeer. Musicality and a lovely performance quality are considered assets. Age range is 13-18

Soldiers/Gingerbread: These dancers will require musicality and a love of performing. Age range is 13+

Rats: These roles require dancers to have strong movement quality and the ability to express character through their movements. A strong sense of musicality and a love of performing are assets. Age range is 14+

Snow Crystals: *NEW* These dancers will require knowledge of classical ballet, musicality, and a love of performing. Age range is 11-14.

Snowflakes/Waltz of the Flowers/Spanish: These featured roles require a strong command of classical ballet technique and pointe work. Dancers in these roles will be working alongside the company and will need to be able to handle multiple hours in pointe shoes. Age range is 14+

Party parents: This role requires an understanding of movement and body awareness. Successful applicants will be comfortable developing their character and interacting on stage with other performers. Ballet is not required. If you have experience with social dances or other dance styles, or are naturally “light on your feet”, please audition.
