This intensive is a high-level training experience for aspiring young dancers, offering focused instruction in ballet and contemporary technique in a supportive and encouraging environment. Training is led by Artistic Director Yukichi Hattori and Master Teacher Galien Johnston Hattori.
Dancers will take classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Stretch & Strength, Character Dance, and Ballet Stories, where dancers explore the history of ballet through storytelling and hands-on crafts.

An immersive program for dedicated dancers, this intensive offers advanced training in ballet, pointe, repertoire, contemporary, and conditioning.
Ballet is taught by Yukichi Hattori and Master Teacher Galien Johnston Hattori, whose refined pedagogy and international career emphasize musicality, clarity, and expressive depth. Galien is widely respected for her ability to cultivate strong technique while nurturing individual growth in each dancer.
Conditioning is led by Sandro Rajic, a specialist in high-performance training whose innovative, science-driven approach supports strength, efficiency, and longevity in the dancer’s body.
This intensive honors classical tradition while preparing dancers for the physical and artistic demands of the professional world.

We are still securing space for our summer intensives. They will take place in St. John’s Metro. As soon as everything is set, we will announce the location.

If you can only do one week out of the two, you will be placed on a waitlist. If there is space available 2 weeks prior to the start date we will let you know and you can take your spot.

A detailed list will be emailed to you prior to the start date but standard ballet attire will be required, including proper ballet shoes and items needed for a ballet bun.

Our Summer Intensive are designed for intermediate to advanced ballet students (Grades 5-12 and post-graduate) who are serious about their training. Participants should have several years of ballet experience and train regularly.

We will complete the final day of each Intensive with a full viewing day. Parents will be able to watch class and then be treated to a demonstration of prepared works that the students will have been working on.
